Job Description: Responsibilities

. Responsible for development and debug of automated test (ATE) platform used to test pre-production and production of AMD microprocessors.
. Need to own test program and transfer to production sites.
. Develop and debug of test patterns and test flows
. Optimization of test flows for increased quality and cost improvement
. Drive and deliver test time improvement and yield improvement efforts.
. Debug issues with early pre-production silicon and new test platforms.
. Analysis of part failures leading to silicon/process/test flow improvement.
. Heavy interaction with DFT mechanisms such as ATPG, MBIST, as well as functional tests.
. Must be able to work both independently and within a cross functional and multi site teams.

Required Qualifications
-Must have 3-5 years of post graduate industry related experience
. Java, Perl, C++, Python coding skills
. Background in Solid State Physics, Computer Architecture, Digital and /or analog Design
. Unix proficiency
Additional qualifications

. Experience w/ ATE, system, or bench top characterization and debug environments.
. Knowledge of various DFT features and JTAG.
. Experience with CVS.
. Experience w/ Credence Sapphire, Advantest and/or Verigy 93000 ATEs.
