Quality Control Engineer (FAB)

Purpose
Development and implementation of SPC procedures and training.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of statistical process controls, inspection sampling plans and procedures, and related SPC/QC/CI training.
2. Carry out assigned duties for internal auditing, training of new auditors, and as an engineering resource for statistical matters.
3. Plan, review, and implement SPC, inspection procedures, auditing, and training responsibilities.
4. Communicate document control and training requirements to maintain cooperative working relationship with department co-workers.
5. Provide departmental services pertaining to SPC, inspection, internal auditing and training.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
Bachelor of Science degree preferred or educational/training equivalent in engineering, mathematics, electronics, or quality control engineering.
Experience
Minimum of five years experience in Statistical Process Control engineering for manufacturing.
Other Qualifications and Requirements
1. Knowledge of development/delivery of SPC training courses.
2. Computer skills for word processing and statistical analysis.
Equipment Utilization
Telephone, personal computer, copy machine, fax machine and calculator.
